My niece and her music=Good

Kamara's debut album "Earth Hero
" is a spellbinding collection of meticulously crafted songs, many of which early fans have been listening to and loving for over a decade. The album draws a meandering line from past to present, containing some of Kamara's earliest solo work as well as a few of her latest songs. "Earth Hero" transports the listener from a lost-love journey through the mythic American landscape (My Kentucky), to a lovely, angelic apocalypse (Lily Gloriosa), through a modern witch's confession-manifesto (Red Wing), to a timeless ode of love/hate in the bedroom (You Wreck Me). "Earth Hero" is a classic, coast-to-coast road trip album, traveling from melancholy to majestic. Its heart is Kamara's milky-wayed warble and her powerful storytelling, channeled through a poetic gaze and an obsession with America's landscape and psyche.

About Kamara -
Songspeller. Storyteller. "Channeling dusty Americana, rootsy folk, and classic rock à la Neil Young, Kamara Thomas (singer and bassist for the acclaimed hard rock band Earl Greyhound) spins hazy narrative paeans to America’s epic landscape and mythic past. Her bewitching live performance incorporates elements of Native American shamanism, trance-inducing jams, and spellbinding stories of the fabled Old West." -- Brooklyn Academy of Music
